Event Report
A SPRING Special Lecture for international students was held at HIBIKINO ODORIVA (2-1 Hibikino, Wakamatsu-ku, Kitakyushu, Japan) on December 19, 2025 (Friday). Mr. Hiroyumi Tanaka, President and Representative Director of Ryowa Co. Ltd. and the employment situation of foreign nationals in Kitakyushu City.
In a hybrid online and offline format, the president explained how Ryowa began as a plumbing contractor in the early 1970s, became a hydraulic repair shop, and then transformed itself into an AI company. He also talked about how he was able to turn a pinch into an opportunity and change his way of thinking in the midst of the company's turning point, which was a very valuable opportunity for the international students who attended the lecture.
After the president's lecture, an exchange party was held. For international students who are considering employment in Japan, the information obtained from the president is very valuable and will be utilized in their future SPRING activities. It was a very informative day for us at TUAT as well.
